Zen Word for Better Communication #10 遠観山里色 Tohku Sanri no Shiki wo Miru

The essence of things can be seen by taking a step back and looking at things from a bird’ eye view.

Each organization has goals, such as mission and vision, that all members should strive for.  If the members that make up the team work apart, they may not be moving toward the same final vector.

Especially in the daily life of the field, it is easy to lose sight of the original goal because we are so busy dealing with the events in front of us.

At such times, we need to dare to take the action of widening our perspective and looking at things from a bird’s eye view.

More forward thinking and action will be the quickest way to reach your goals.  Once you have wandered through the forest, aim for the summit, look around the whole area, and find your lost destination.
